The western hygienics was communicated to China by interpreted books of boanerges. It spread hygienics knowledge,changed Chinese concept,advanced hygiene policy and action. The article discussed the content and characteristic of western hygienics books interpreted by Ding FuBao,studied the history background and approach of western hygiene,and explored the influence of western hygiene communication to social change of modern china.
