Abstract:Objective:To explore the application value of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis of tubal pregnancy and to provide reference for clinical treatment of tubal pregnancy. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 87 cases of tubal pregnancy with clinical diagnosis was carried out, transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound was used to measure the size of tubal pregnancy mass, blood flows graded according to Alder, mass nourishing blood parameter RI, and the value of serum β-HCG on the day of ultrasound examination was recorded. The patients were divided into three groups: successful expectant treatment (A), successful MTX(methotrexate) chemotherapy (B), unsuccessful expectations or chemotherapies turn to surgery (C). Baseline information, the data of ultrasound measurement and serum β-HCG were compared among the three groups using one-way anova. Results:There were no statistically significant differences in age, number of days after menopause and tubal pregnancy mass (location, size, echo, composition, shape and boundary) among the three groups. There was no significant difference in blood flow grade and resistance index between Groups A and B (P > 0.05), while there was significant difference between Groups A, C and Groups B, C (P < 0.05), and there was significant difference in serum β-HCG values among the three groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions:Transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound is a reliable imaging diagnostic method, combined with serum β-HCG examination can effectively guide clinical treatment.
