Abstract:Meningioma is a common tumor of the central nervous system, most of which are benign tumors with slow growth. The prognosis is good after surgical resection. Lung metastasis of meningioma is clinically rare. A patient with recurrent anaplastic meningioma was treated by the Department of Neurosurgery of the first affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University in February 2021. A year later, multiple metastatic lesions in both lungs were found. Radiotherapy and immunotherapy for metastatic lesions were not effective. Multiple gene abnormalities were found after high-throughput sequencing of meningioma specimens. Now we report the case data and interpret the sequencing results, summarize the clinical characteristics and review the relevant literature, in order to improve the clinicians"" understanding of the disease.
