Abstract:Objective The aim of this study was using multimodal parameters to evaluate left ventricular systolic and diastolic function in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Methods A total of 54 HCM patients, including 34 non-obstructive HCM patients and 20 obstructive HCM patients, and 30 normal controls were compared for the differences of left ventricular function. Results Left ventricular systolic and diastolic function were reduced in HCM patients. GLS, GWI, GCW and GWE decreased more significantly in obstructive HCM patients. There was no statistically significant difference in GWW among three groups. Conclusions Echocardiographic multimodal. parameters can early evaluate the impairment of left ventricular function in patients with HCM and provide an important basis for clinical diagnosis and prognosis.
