    Abstract:

Objective:To study ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and mycoplasma hominis(MH) infection in the urogenital duct and their drug-resistance. Methods:Mycoplasma culture was carried out with the samples of 682 cases and the drug-resistance was detected at the same time. Results:359 samples from 682 suspected cases cultured were identified to present with positive mycoplasma(52.64%). Among them , 298 samples were infected by UU(43.7%), 8 samples by MH(1.2%), and 53 samples by both UU and MH(7.8%). The detectable rate of UU was far higher than that of MH. Mycoplasma infection was chiefly found in middle-aged people ranging from 21 to 40 years old(86.63%). The positive rate of the female was much higher than that of the male(P < 0.05). The results of drug-resistance showed that mycoplasma was much sensitive to josamycin, pristinmycin, doxycycline, tetracycline, mid-sensitive to azithromycin and erythromycin, and resistant to ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin and clarithromycin. Conclusion:The urogenital mycoplasma infection results mainly from UU, especially in young and mid-aged people. Compared with simple UU or MH infection, mixed infection with UU and MH has significantly greater resistance to a wider variety of drugs. Josamycin, pristinmycin, doxycycline, and tetracycline are the primary choices for urogenital mycoplasma infection.
