    Abstract:

Objective:To establish the method of making chronic ischemic myocardial models in swines by full-endoscopy. Methods:The myocardial ischemia was established by gradual occlusion of the left circumflex coronary artery(LCX) with an Ameroid constrictor. An Ameroid constrictor was implanted around LCX by full endoscopy. Selective coronary angiography were performed postoperatively to evaluate the degree of stenosis and collateral circulation. Results:Chronic ischemic myocardial models were successfully constructed in 20 swines by full-endoscopy. Six weeks later, coronary angiography revealed that the total occlusion and partial stenosis(>85%)of the LCX in 7 and 13 swines separatively. The coronary collateral circulation was obviously formed. Conclusion:The full-endoscopic operation could construct coronary artery occlusion animal models with less injury than thoracic surgery.
