Abstract:Objective:Using cDNA microarray to search for laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC) associated gene profiling differentially expressed and to screen LSCC associated genes. Methods:LSCC tissues and normal para-tumor tissues from the same patients in 4 cases and their gene expression profiles were screened using cDNA microarrays which contained the whole human being genome. Results:A cDNA microarray analysis revealed significant changes in the expression of 349 genes, with 112 genes being up-regulated and 237 genes being down-regulated in all 4 cases. Conclusion:cDNA microarray provided a large body of information regarding gene expression profiles associated with LSCC. Analysis of the genes profile could not only interpret LSCC complicated relation between biologic characteristics and genes differentially expressed, but also identify the marker of LSCC. The cDNA microarray results would be the basis of studying tumorigenesis and development of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in the future.
