    Abstract:

Objective:To investigate the expression of ITGA6 and CTHRC1 protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and evaluate their relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods:Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of ITGA6 and CTHRC1 protein in 46 cases with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 10 cases with normal esophagus tissue. Results:①The higher expression of ITGA6 and CTHRC1 was observed in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, the expression rates were 71.7%(33/46)and 56.5%(26/46),the negative expression was detected in 10 cases with normal esophagus tissue.②There was significantly higher expression in the cases with metastasis than these with non-metastasis(P < 0.05).③The expression of ITGA6 and CTHRC1 was not significantly related with age-sex-size of tumer and pathological type(P > 0.05). Conclusion:ITGA6 and CTHRC1 are involved in the invasion and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and may be new therapy targets.
