Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of curcumine on expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) induced by H2O2 in myocardial cell. To explore the possible mechanism of antioxygenation of curcumine in oxidative stress. Methods:In order to gain the oxidative injure cell model, cells myocardial with H2O2. Myocardial cells were incubated with curcumin and H2O2,then the expression of MCP-1 at different time points during the oxidative injure was detected by western blotting. Results:Western blotting showed that MCP-1 expressed in all groups. Higher level of MCP-1 expression was observed in H2O2 stimulated group compared with that in control group(P < 0.05). After treated with curcumin, the expression of MCP-l in H2O2+ curcumine group was reduced(P < 0.05). Conclusion:The expressions of MCP-1 induced by H2O2 can be inhibited by curcumine, and it may be one of the mechanisms of antioxygenation effect of curcumine.
