    Abstract:

    Objective:To evaluate the effect of aesthetic crown lengthening surgery and restoration with precious metal porcelain crown in the treatment of upper anterior tooth,and to explore the best postoperative restoration time. Methods:40 patients with 46 upper anterior teeth were treated by crown lengthening surgery,and restored with precious metal porcelain crown affer 6 months. All evaluation indexes were recorded before surgery,6W and 6M(before restoration)afeter surgery,6M and 1Y after restoraion. Results:one year after the restoration,all of the cervical margin was good,and all of the teeth did not have peridentioclasia or other complication such as gingival stain. The esthetic effects of restorations were satisfactory. Conclusion:Aesthetic crown lengthening surgery combined with restoration with precious metal porcelain crown can achieve a good cosmetic restoration purpose.
