    Abstract:

Objective:To investigate the effect of CRP on the [Ca2+]i in mice aorta endothelial cells(ECs). Methods:Mice aortic endothelial cells were isolated and cultured. ECs were divided into control group and CRP treated group, and the changes of [Ca2+]i was examined after 25 min. For the effect of atorvastatin, the cells were pre-incubated 30 min by atorvastatin(1 μmol/L)prior to adding CRP(100 mg/L). Results:[Ca2+]i of ECs significantly increased after the treatment of CRP in a dose dependent manner. Furthermore, atorvastatin partially abrogated the up-regulation of [Ca2+]i. Conclusion:Inflammatory of ECs was up-regulation in response to CRP stimulation. Meanwhile, the research also demonstrated that atorvastatin partial suppressed inflammatory induced by CRP treatment.
