At present，the world is in the stage of rapid aging population growth，the incidence of cardiac disease increases sharply with the age. Mitochondrial dysfunction is a sign of aging and may be the initial cause of it. In this comment，we discuss mitochondrial dysfunction in the process of cardiac aging and specific measures against the mitochondrial related pathways.
