After many years’ study and exploration, a model which suits community practice teaching in clinical medicine had been established in Zhaoqing Medical College. This teaching model combined hospital care with community care as well as community service. It had been proved, by practice, to be able to make up for the insufficiency of the traditional model in clinical practice teaching. By doing this, the quality of students’ practice and their professional skills could be improved so as to increase their awareness and abilities of community health care. We could also serve the community with our teaching resources, thereby promoting the development of the community medical care.
