    Abstract:

The controversy whether “Chinese traditional medicine is scientific” had continued for more than 100 years. Recently, the retention or abolition of the Chinese traditional medicine aroused the attention of all sectors. In fact, looking at the concepts of science and science demarcation, especially the scientific basis, it was not difficult to find that the results appeared rash. After all,Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine were produced in two different cultures, and were all with their own cultural stigma. Produced in Chinese culture, Chinese medicine had made a significant contribution for human health, whether past or present. It was still full of strong vitality of the comprehensive knowledge and it was the integration of the arts from science and humanities. Although western science and western modern medicine occupied the mainstream nowaday, Chinese traditional medicine shouldn’t be prejudice to acknowledge and study, and it could grow with brand new life.
