Objective: To study the effect of head-simulators teaching system at College of Stomatology of Nanjing Medical University. Methods: Students of Classes 2001 and 2002 were investigated by questionares and clinical examinations throughout head-simulator training. Results: The results had showed that head-simulator teaching system raised the activity of students,consolidated their basic knowledge,developed their clinical thinking ability,and provided them some pre-clinical operational skills. Conclusion: Head-simulators training is one necessary tool for students during their pre-clinical training.
