In recent years, lots of studies on internet addiction were undertaken, most of which concentrating on college students. The article provided an overview of definition, diagnostic criterion, formation mechanism and therapy of internet addiction disorder. By analyzing the views of several popular theories, the authors brought forward possible research trends of internt addiction disorder.
