Abstract:Objective:To make the current curriculum provision of Nanjing Medical University Continuing Education College(NJMU-CEC)adapt to the development trend of modern medical education,and satisfy the requirements of the vast majority of trainees. Methods:The results of the questionnaires collected from the adult students in grade 2006,2007and 2008 of NJMU-CEC were analyzed and their opinions,suggestions and requirements from subjects concerning the current curriculum provision were found out. At the same time the curriculum provision for adult clinical medicine was compared specialty with that of other universities in and out of Jiangsu Province to identify the inadequacy of the current curriculum. Results:With the development of the medical reform,and rejuvenation and localization of student resoure,the current curriculum has been unable to adapt to the continuous development of trainees. Conclusion:The adjustment of the curriculum provision is to refine training objectives,strengthen the practical courses and the humanities courses,and focus on the overall quality of training.
