Objective:To investigate the research status and the development trend of AIDS since it was discovered. Methods:The method of subject-word retrieval was used to select the articles about AIDS from two databases,PubMed and CBMWeb. The bibliometric analysis was performed. Results:The research of AIDS in our country generally kept pace with the international status. It mainly focused on the basic medicine,clinical medicine and public sanitation areas while the researchs in psychology and sociology were relatively weak. Conclusion:The research on AIDS in our country must follow the international trend and enhance the research on therapy especially on the field of prevention and control. On the other hand,the cooperation among medical personnel,psychologists and sociologists should be helpful.
