    Abstract:

This article focused on the important meaning of the humanistic spirit of traditional Chinese culture to the reconstruction of medical ethics. The humanistic spirit of traditional Chinese culture was analyzed from three aspects: the “benevolence” in Confucius, the “compassion” in Buddhism, and the “dialectics” in Taoism, with a purpose of seeking its matching point to medical ethics. At last, five ways of how to cultivate medical humanistic spirit through traditional Chinese culture had been discussed.
