    Abstract:

The specialties offered by the independent colleges in China have shown up a tendency toward resemblance, which can been found in the following aspects:the majority of those specialties are directly transplanted from their parent universities;different independent colleges offer similar specialties;the specialties are mainly under same classified courses;the newly-set specialties tend to be same. Such situation mainly resulted from the system of specialty setting in our country and the particularity of independent colleges as well. In order to avoid the problems above and form respective features, the independent colleges may set up major orientation actively, enhance the ranks of teachers, create space for specialty development, handle the relation between regionality and openness properly, and strengthen the establishment of specialty connotation.
