After the opium war,the western dentistry was introduced into China with other western modern medicine,changed people’s concept of dental diseases,and provided a treatment mode which was significant different with Chinese dental treatment. Due to the restriction of the traditional culture and the social environment,dental treatment is still ignored,and the special obvious difference is showed on idea and behavior of dental problems. The persistent pursuit of “healthy” promotes the integration of idea and behavior and gradually achieves social and ecological pattern in which variety ideas and behaviors exist side by side.
