In the background of new-health-care-reform, China’s retail drugstores are faced with new competitive environment, and providing pharmaceutical care is becoming more and more important for the retail drugstores. In this paper, we discussed the impact on retail pharmacy of the new-health-care-reform and the current statues of pharmaceutical care in the retail drugstores. Based on these discussions, we discussed how to push forward pharmaceutical care in retail pharmacy from two aspects of drug administration and related drugstores.
