    Abstract:

    Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Revised short Scale for Chinese(EPQ-RSC)and subjective well-being index scale were applied to investigate the personality of college students and the relation of their personality and subjective well-being from 236 college students in Nanjing. Extraversion was affected significantly by environment. The college students from urban were easier to be extravert than that from countryside. The relation of learning stress and neuroticism was very significant. There is significant difference of neuroticism among different types of college students. There is significant difference of extraversion and neuroticism among different healthy states college students. The economic of college students did not affect the traits of their personality significantly. The relation of extraversion and subjective well-being was very significant. The relation of neuroticism and subjective well-being was very significant. The degree of the relations is in the middle level, but the forward is positive and the latter is negative. The relation of the traits of the personality of college students and their subjective well-being is close.
