Case discussion in general surgery tearching was taken for grade 2005 foreign interns in our hospital. Foreign interns took part in case discussion actively and had a positive evaluation effect. Compared with grade 2004,grade 2005 foreign interns had significantly improved in answering questions and achieving scores of rotation tests. Case discussion was an effective way to improve the level of clinical practice of foreign students.
