On the Internet,a portal is a site that consists of links to other websites. The article analyzed portals’ online patient service of 30 large hospitals from 7 countries through search engines and introduced some characteristic columns to give some advice for our hospital website construction and improvement,then advanced that with the development of Internet,hospitals which serving as the backbone of China’s healthcare industry should establish high-level websites to meet the increasing demands from patients.
