    Abstract:

    Based on the prefabricated chunks, input and output hypothesis, the author intends to explore the development of students’ output competence as their weakness lies in spoken English to some extent. Taking chunk as an ideal unit of language input and output, the improvement of the cultivation of students’ output competence has been studied by establishing the sense of chunk, finding more ways of chunk input and creating the environment and chances of chunk output in English teaching.
