    Abstract:

The cultural conflicts between doctors and patients are caused by differences between the traditional medicine culture and the modern medicine culture, which exist during the process of modernization in China. To deal with these conflicts, we could use the philosophic thought of “harmony generates vitality” and “harmony without uniformity” which are both from the traditional culture, accept the existence of differences, achieve the goal of integration, then promote the popularization and development of the modern medicine culture. All the efforts would certainly contribute to the resolution of these conflicts.
