With the development of modern scientific technology, the loss of medical humanism is becoming more and more visible. The article started from the connotation of medical humanism, analysed the current situation of the loss of medical humanism, and emphasized the importance of medical humanism. It also suggested the efficient ways to nurture medical humanism on the following three aspects: improving of humanistic quality of medical staff, assessment of humanism index and the reflection of medical humanistic care.
