The medical graduate students are high-level medical talents in China. Through retrospective analysis of the education work of graduate students’ innovation ability in Department of Urology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University in recent years,we realized that high quality medical research talents could be cultured by full use of the advantages of the clinical departments and better management of training in research innovation ability,which could adapt to the need of current society to medical talents and play an important role in promoting the development of department.
