By teaching medical students with the original English textbook of gastroenterology,by implementation of the “standard patients” and PBL teaching mode,by the practice in the international out-patient clinic,by the enlargement of knowledge in pathology,laboratory test,image study as well as gastroendoscopic exercises,and by adding “14 days’ notes”,“simple and straight patient management system” and “good doctor’s card wearing system”,all of which have expanded the international mode of thinking in medical students. Thereafter,these actions enhanced learning initiative,enthusiasm and clinical skills of medical students,and will lay a solid foundation for the development of high-quality medical talents.
