The Journal of Nanjing Medical University (Natural Sciences) is an open access (OA) journal. All articles published in this journal are freely available via the journal’s official website (http://jnmu.njmu.edu.cn/zr/aumn/home), permitting non-commercial users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of these articles without prior permission from the publisher or authors. The journal does not charge separate article processing fees for open access articles. This journal complies with the definition of open access as outlined in the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative).

Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement with the editorial office of Nanjing Medical University (Natural Sciences), transferring copyright to the journal. While the copyright of the paper remains with the journal’s editorial office, authors retain the right to use their work following the journal’s adopted Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND).
