To sort out the current research status and context of China's health care resources allocation, we used the bibliometrics and visualization software CiteSpace to conduct a panoramic dynamic visual analysis of the institutions, authors, keyword co-occurrences,hot topics, and mutant words of 1 370 Peking University core,CSSCI,and CSCD literatures included in the CNKI database(CNKI)from 1992 to 2021. The results showed that the annual publication volume of the healthcare resource allocation had shown an overall increasing trend in the past 30 years. University scientific research institutes are the main force of research. Except for the authors with the highest number of publications, the cooperation among the remaining authors is not very close. The top three keywords of word frequency are health resource allocation, health resources, and equity while the average contour values of keywords are all greater than 0.7,with good internal closeness. Compared with developed countries, there is still a large gap between the total allocation of healthcare resources and the per capita allocation of medical and health resources in China. The impact of the national system and policy changes on healthcare resources and how to improve their allocation will become one of the hotspots of future research.
