The Action Plan for Enhancing Medical Humanistic Care（2024-2027）emphasizes the significance of strengthening medical humanistic care and fostering mutual trust between healthcare practitioners and patients. The integration of literature and medicine has deep historical roots，with diseases serving as both a source of literary material and a driving force for creative writing. This integration has facilitated the literary dissemination of medical knowledge，the generalized application of medical terminology and the cultural evolution of disease metaphors. However，the process of integrating also faces many difficulties and challenges， such as inaccuracies of literary depictions of medical knowledge，the potential negative social impact of certain literary works，and the consideration of cultural differences and individual needs. Along with the concept of narrative medicine，this paper explores the developmental pathways of literature-medicine integration from both theoretical and practical perspectives，aiming to provide new insights and inspiration for advancing medical humanities and fostering positive doctor-patient interactions.
