The Red Medical Spirit（RMS） embodies profound principles， academic knowledge， and philosophical significance，serving as a guiding spiritual banner for strengthening the professional ethics construction of young medical students in the new journey of the new era. From a theoretical perspective，the RMS scientifically addresses fundamental questions of“What is the RMS?”，“Why is the RMS needed?”and “How to promote the RMS?”through four dimensions，including political belief，humanistic sentiment， excellent conduct and professional competence. From an academic perspective，the RMS combines the soul of Marxism and the root of traditional Chinese culture with the practice of China’s revolution，construction and reform.
