With the evolution of medical models and the development of healthcare systems，hospital environmental design is no longer limited to providing spaces for medical service，but also incorporates the therapeutic attributes of humanistic care. Under the new medical paradigm and the“comprehensive health” concept， this paper adopts a doctor - patient inclusion perspective. By reviewing relevant domestic and international research on the development of therapeutic environments in hospitals while integrating practical insights，it elaborates on the vital relationship between doctor - patient inclusion and the development of therapeutic environments. It also identifies existing challenges in current construction practices and，using a general hospital in Anhui Province as a case study，systematically explores implementation pathways for building therapeutic hospital environments from four perspectives， including inclusiveness， therapeutic effectiveness，humanistic care，and smart healthcare infrastructure. The paper proposes targeted development strategies to provide practical references for related practices.
