Abstract:The life science revolution is fundamentally challenging human understanding of life. By deconstructing the natural laws of life, it is undermining the sacredness, finiteness, uniqueness, and autonomy of life in traditional life values. In response to these technological challenges, it is necessary to replace the transcendent awe with conventional respect to reconstruct the sacredness of life. It is necessary to use public reasoning as a balancing tool to reconstruct the finiteness of life, use shared values and institutional guarantees to reconstruct the uniqueness of life, and use technological empowerment and ethical responsibility to reconstruct the autonomy of life. The Marxist conception of life provides theoretical guidance for value transcendence, exploring the practical transcendence of individual life values in the life science and biotechnology era at three levels, including individual cognition, social practice, and the national system, based on the life essence of the "ensemble of social relations" and the commitment to the "free and comprehensive development of human beings". The study aims to achieve a dialectical unity between technological innovation and the fundamental value preservation, ensuring that life sciences continue to serve human dignity and comprehensive development.
