[Abstract]Objective：To evaluate the stress source and coping style of nurses in high-quality ward . Methods: A total 0f 238 nurses from high-quality nursing demonstration wards of three third-grade class-A hospitals in nanjing were investigated . Results ：The stress of nurses in high-quality wards showed statistical differences in the term of department 、educational background and professional title . The score of positive coping styles of nurses in high-quality wards all more than the score of native coping styles of whom.Negative coping style was positively correlated with the stress of the nurses.( r=0.218 P<0.01) Conclusion: reasonable and effective measures should be adopted to reduce nurses, stress source .To enhance job enthuse and satisfaction of nurses，we should rationally allocate human resources，make Scheduling system reasonable and promote welfare for nurses．
