Computer practice is quite necessary in bioinformatics teaching. It plays an important in cultivating the discipline comprehensive qualities of students. Cultivating innovative, exploratory and practical abilities are one of the training objectives of universities. The essay summarizes how to optimize teaching contents in computer practice, improve teaching methods and the performance comprehensive evaluation system. We aim explore teaching reforms of computer practice, and discuss how to cultivate innovation ability through computer practice in bioinformatics teaching.
