Abstract:A lot of problems arise in adult advanced medical education. They are the irregularity of students’ age, knowledge and structure; prominent contradiction between work and study; weakness of teaching experiment and practice link and the problem of too much attention on the theory with neglect of practice and lack of adult characteristics. Now reform of adult advanced medical education must be conducted with respect to the adult medical students’ characteristics, innovation of administrative system. The structure of the course must be optimized according to the demand of students. The teaching level must be improved to guarantee the teaching quality. The criteria of assessment must be innovated with regard to the characteristics of the subjects.
