The development of global health could be presented in three periods: 1) sanitation conference period, 2) worldwide global health cooperation and 3) globalization and multilateral health cooperation. China"s typical diplomacy and foreign health cooperation is officially with WHO, also could be divided into three stages, the initiate period, the gradually deepened understanding and cooperation period and multi-level globalization cooperation period. Combing the tendency of China’s strategy of participating in global health, and the cooperation strategies of World Health Organization (WHO), will put forward policy recommendations on international health cooperation accorded with China"s national conditions, and provide references for the relevant work.
