This article retrospects briefly the courses and main achievements of reform and development of medical security systems in China, analyze 8 aspects of significant problems wanted to intensive study in establishing continuable funding mechanism, defines the basic meaning of medical security with Chinese characteristics, from 5 aspects of enhancing the continuity of medical security systems, presents 16 items of concrete imagines and proposals.
