Abstract:Objective: To explore the relationship among job-hunting stress, self-efficacy and coping styles, therefore to provide evidence for soothing job-hunting stress and enhancing their employability. Methods: Combined with the counselors’ career guidance work experiences, questionnaire survey was adopted to investigate medical graduates. Results: The results showed the following: (1) job-hunting stress showed respectively positive and negative correlation with self-efficacy and positive coping styles. (2) Poverty-stricken college students suffered higher stress than others. (3) Female students showed lower self-efficacy than male students. Conclusion: society and family environment were two major pressure sources. We should carry out proper psychological adjust to enhance students’ self-efficacy and soothe job-hunting stress with multi-method approach.
