Abstract:This article adopts the Social Support Scale and social contact sheets to measure the emotional depression of shidu groups, parents who have lost their only-child. The result shows that the quality of social contacts impacts the emotional state of shidu groups. The more actively they are involved in social contacts, the more positive their mood is. Besides, the use of social support has a significant influence on their emotional state. By improving the quality of social contacts, increasing community involvement, strengthening social support, constructing a widespread quality social networking of shidu groups as well as mobilizing their initiative to promote self-integration will ultimately improve the emotional state shidu groups, achieve self-management of social integration and improve their quality of life.
