Abstract:Objective: Through investigating both doctors and patients, to understand the medical staff continuing education content and requirements, provide the evidence for the adjustment of the content of continuing medical education. Methods:To distribute the questionnaires to medical staff and patients, to understand what the medical staff want to learn, and what patients expect medical staff to be ,by comparison and analysis, to propose the suggestion on the adjustment of continuing medical education content. Results:We found that 100% of the medical staff have the desire to take part in continuing medical education.In addition to professional skills, the communication skill, psychology knowledge, service etiquette,management knowledge are the most important component of continuing medical education.96.3% of the patients’ attitude toward continuing education is approving.Conclusion:Medical staff have to attend the continuing medical education, the content of continuing medical education should be extended to some other areas, only in lifelong continuing medical education, including the medical humanities,can medical staff improve the service level, to meet the increasing needs of medical services and construct the harmonious doctor-patient relationship.
