Abstract:【】Objective: Explore the features of marital attachment for older adults beyond Chinese culture background, and to compare the effects on mental health. Methods: using convenience sampling and interviewed in the way of the combination of Husband and Wife attachment and loneliness scale questionnaire survey of 260 old people. Result: ①The elderly loneliness with an average score of 1.95, which is low in the overall level; regional difference, living status and income level has a significant effect on it. Among them, the income level of city living, social as well as higher can reduce the loneliness of the elderly.②The cluster analysis showed that ,the elderly couple attachment mode is divided into security, anxious and avoidant. And the dominant is safety. ③The sense of loneliness as mental health indicators, through the variance analysis, found the elderly couple attachment types had a significant effect on the sense of loneliness. After the test found that the index of safety score is lowest, and the other two types of no difference.
