The Undergraduate Innovation Program for college students is a novel education mode to cultivate the innovative talents. Various universities are now actively exploring a new reform mode in teaching and practice for helping students train innovative consciousness and ability. Through guiding the medical university students to carry out innovative training program, we realized that high quality medical research talents could be cultured by combining students' major and specialties and making full use of the advantages of clinical departments during the process of cultivating the innovative thinking ability of the undergraduates.
