Abstract:Clinical pharmacology is one of the professional core courses for students majoring in clinical medicine and pharmacy. Based on the knowledge of pharmacy and clinical medicine, the main contents of clinical pharmacology include clinical pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, adverse drug effect, drug toxicity, and the nature and mechanism of drug-drug interaction. As a powerful ideological weapon, philosophical principle is pervasive, including the teaching process of clinical pharmacology. It is beneficial for both the teacher and the students to combine the knowledge of clinical pharmacology with the philosophical principles such as materialistic dialectics, dialectical materialism. The combination is helpful to improve the quality of teaching. More importantly, it is conducive to guide the students to establish a scientific way of thinking, which is essential to cultivate the innovative medical and pharmaceutical professionals.
