Objective：To investigate patients’ perception of new health care reform in Yancheng, Jiangsu, to evaluate the effect of new medical reform in Yancheng City,find the existing problems and propose specific suggestions. Methods：A self-designed questionnaire was employed to investigate patients’ perspective in five hospitals. The descriptive analysis and chi-square test were computed to assess the results. Results：48.3% of patients believe that health care is the most effective aspect of health care reform in the past two years; 45.9% of patients believe that the current medicare proportion of compensation is too low; The effect of different cultural degree of patients on multi point practice was statistically significant; Patients think the implementation of grading clinics have a larger impact and no impact on the patient basically flat. Conclusion：Yancheng patients’overall awareness level on the implementation of the new medical reform policy is higher.The new health care reform still needs to improve the basic level of medical and health system construction such as smooth channels of information and explore the establishment of stable talent mechanism and limit the size of hospitals and strengthen drug supervision.
