Abstract:Objective To investigate the situation of life perception of medical students and analyze its underlying cause, so as to explore an effective strategy of life education. Methods A self-made questionnaire was used to conduct an investigation on perception and education demands of life among students from 2 medical universities in Fujian province. Total 730 students were surveyed. Descriptive analysis, chi-square test and multiple regression analysis methods were used to analyze the data. Results: There was a statistical significance of life perception among the students of different grades (P<0.05). The will of organ donation between male and female students and the understanding of hospice care among different grades were quite different, with statistical significance (P<0.05).The gender, major and grade influenced the accessibility of life perception as a single factor, P<0.05. Conclusion: Medical universities should attach importance to life education and lead students to establish more positive life attitude, display the humanism of healing the wounded and rescuing the dying.
