Ｇene-editing of human embryos brings hopes to children suffering from incurable diseases. At the same time, the traditional norms are challenged by this technology. It also evokes a series of ethical and legal debates from the society. The public need to deal with this emerging technology rationally, and relevant departments also need to strengthen the ethic supervision of gene-editing technology.
